Registration includes access to all 12 sessions, two guidebooks, access to the event app, & special couples projects. Does not include meals, parking, or accommodations.
Weekend to Remember is for any couple that dreams of a deep and fulfilling relationship with their spouse. Whether you’re engaged, newlyweds, or coming up on your 50th wedding anniversary; whether you can’t keep your hands off of each other or can’t look each other in the eyes; whether you got married in a church or stumbled into one for counseling – we designed Weekend to Remember with you in mind. To be a place you’d feel safe and understood. To give you space to come just as you are and offer hope that you might leave better off than when you came.
Though FamilyLife cares deeply about your family, in order to keep your weekend free of distractions and as a courtesy to other guests, we do not allow children or pets in our sessions, including nursing infants. Only certified service animals are allowed (not emotional support).
They are not included, but guests may receive a discounted room rate if they choose to stay at the getaway hotel. Contact the hotel from your chosen location. Be sure to mention “FamilyLife’s Weekend to Remember” when you make your reservation to receive the special rate (limited availability).
A $2 non-refundable processing fee is added to each registration to support the operation of our registration system. This fee helps us cover the costs charged by our registration platform provider, ensuring a reliable and user-friendly experience for all attendees. By including this small fee, we can continue to offer a seamless and secure registration process that allows you to focus on preparing for your Weekend to Remember.
Registration and Hotel
Registration fee is $175 per person, $350 per couple.
Staying overnight at the hotel will enhance your experience. You are responsible for making your hotel reservations. Discounted room rates are available. When calling the hotel, mention that you are attending the Weekend to Remember and ask for the discounted rate.
All discounted rates are subject to availability, so call early to ensure you’ll receive the discount. Check with the hotel about parking and other additional fees.
Often an alternative will be suggested by the hotel or on our website. If not, please call 1-800-358-6329 for help in locating a hotel nearby. Commuters are welcome as well.

– If you decide not to attend, please call 1-800-358-6329 prior to the event to cancel.
– To transfer to a different location, please cancel your current event registration and then re-register for your preferred event.
If after attending Weekend to Remember you aren’t happy with your getaway experience, the full registration fee (less processing fee) will be refunded upon written request no later than seven days after the getaway you attended.

Schedule
In order to get the most out of the weekend, we suggest all sessions be attended.
They vary each day; however, the event starts at 7 p.m. Friday night and ends Sunday at 12:30 p.m.

Attendance
No matter where you are in your relationship journey – whether dating, engaged, or married – we encourage you to attend! While we primarily focus our content on married couples, the information shared at Weekend to Remember will help lay the groundwork for your future marriage.
This getaway is a great way to learn the principles of a healthy marriage and get ahead of some of the hardships discussed. There will be a vow renewal at the end of the getaway for couples that are married.

Yes. Even though your spouse can’t or won’t attend, you will still receive a lot of valuable information you can start applying to your marriage right away.
Though the principles remain the same at each event, there are different speakers, stories, and information that is presented at each one. While we have recently refreshed all of our content, we also want to acknowledge that year to year, you are also a different couple and will gain something different each time you attend.
FamilyLife is dedicated to guiding healthy and struggling marriages through the application of biblical principles. We encourage and welcome anyone to attend our events, but we support God’s design for marriage as set forth in the Bible. This blueprint involves a man and a woman first being committed to loving and serving God, and then committing to loving and serving each other for a lifetime.
Weekend to Remember therefore aligns with our beliefs and does not address LGBTQ+ relationships. If a couple chooses to attend, they are typically comfortable with the biblically based guidance provided, similar to what they may receive in a church.

You will be contacted by someone from our staff to discuss your specific needs. Please give at least a 30-day notice prior to the event so we can properly respond to your request.
Disability accommodations offered by hotels may vary, so please contact the hotel directly for this information.
Service animals are allowed at the WTR conference. Emotional support animals, however, are NOT allowed in the sessions, but if permitted by the hotel, may be kept in your hotel room during the event.

This is an opportunity for you and your spouse to get away from life’s distractions and talk about things you would not otherwise discuss that are important for relationship development. You will listen to gifted speakers talk about challenges every couple faces, learn time-tested tools to help strengthen your marriage and hear real-life stories from the speakers. Couple’s projects are used to apply the truths in practical ways during and after the weekend.
Other Questions
Yes! Our event planners need 3 to 4 couples at each event to work in the resource center shop, facilitate guest check in and help set up and teardown the equipment in the ballroom. Times & responsibilities vary. If you are an alumni and are interested in volunteering during the weekend, please click here to apply.
This is not a counseling session and there aren’t any counselors on-site. However, each one of our volunteers can and would love to pray with you if you’d like.
We are doing everything we can to keep all the events on the schedule without compromising the safety of participants and will continue to update our guidelines as needed.
