Did you relax? Did you stay home?\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis: <\/strong>Outstanding!\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Bob: <\/strong>You just kind of chilled, didn\u2019t you?\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis: <\/strong>We kind of chilled and stayed home. I\u2019ll tell you what\u2014it\u2019s just a great time of the year. There\u2019s no place like being home, Bob.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Bob: <\/strong>Peace on earth, goodwill to men?\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis: <\/strong>No doubt about it, especially with my bride of 45 years. I love my kids, love my grandkids, but at Christmastime, it\u2019s really a lot of fun to be with Barbara.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Bob: <\/strong>So you just had kind of a quiet Christmas this year.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis: <\/strong>Yes. How did you make that happen?\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis: <\/strong>Let me tell you the secret.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Bob: <\/strong>We\u2019re all waiting to hear.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis: <\/strong>I was born to Hook and Dousey Rainey.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Bob: <\/strong>Yes.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis: <\/strong>I have no idea because my grandfather, O.T.\u2014Oliver Theodore\u2014had white hair. He had a full head of hair at the end of his life when they celebrated their 50<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary\u2014and I will never forget it. His hair was snow white. I thought growing old, that\u2019s what I\u2019d look like, but I looked more like my dad at that point\u2014and my dad didn\u2019t have many grey hairs either.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Bob: <\/strong>It\u2019s really kind of annoying, I\u2019d just let you know. [Laughter] You have more hair than I have\u2014and your hair is a youthful color.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>5:00<\/strong>\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis: <\/strong>You know\u2014we\u2019ve got some early pictures. That means that every once in a while we get a little carried away with things like hair color or whatever\u2014and it leads to laughter. I don\u2019t know if you remember, but I came in one day and told you about a little confrontation I\u2019d had with my wife over a purchase I had made.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis: <\/strong>Would that be straws?\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Bob: <\/strong>Well, let\u2019s listen. \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t[Recorded audio]\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Bob:<\/strong> I went to Sam\u2019s one day and my wife had mentioned that we were out of straws. You remember this, right? [Laughter] So Sam\u2019s had straws\u2014you could buy a box of straws at Sam\u2019s\u2014\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>6:00<\/strong>\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t\u2014$10 for 3,000 straws\u2014that is\u2014that is 1\/3 penny per straw. At the store you can buy 50 straws for $1. I looked at that and said, \u201cThis is the bargain of a lifetime. It\u2019s a lifetime supply of straws.\u201d I bought the straws and came home. My wife\u2019s response to my meeting this need of hers was, \u201cI\u2019m never sending you to the store to buy straws again!\u201d [Laughter]\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\tI\u2019d like to do a poll. Can I do a poll on the internet to find out who was right? Me and my 3000 straws? \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis: <\/strong>I think this is a good poll.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Bob: <\/strong>Absolutely!\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis: <\/strong>I think this is a good poll.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Bob: <\/strong>3,000 straws for $10, or buying a box of 50 straws for $1. \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis: <\/strong>I want to say this. I know that the men who would buy the 10,000 straw\u2014\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Bob: <\/strong>3,000!\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis: <\/strong>10,000 straw box\u2014you\u2019re going to want to be tempted to vote more than once because you\u2019re going to feel outnumbered\u2014but please have integrity.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Bob: <\/strong>Only one vote per household. \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis: <\/strong>No, only per person.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Bob: <\/strong>Per person. You would think that anybody that had written a book that had sold millions of copies\u2014like Gary Chapman\u2014would remember every one of the five love languages!\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Bob: <\/strong>I was just with Gary Chapman last week. I was reminiscing on the day that he and Ross Campbell were together in the studio. So the next day we decided\u2014out of mercy for Gary Chapman\u2014we\u2019d ask Ross Campbell this time to give us the five love languages. Here\u2019s what happened.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t[Recorded Audio]\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Ross<\/strong>: Every child has to have their emotional tanks filled and this the way we do it\u2014by the five love languages. \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Bob: <\/strong>And they are?\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Ross: <\/strong>The first one is physical touch, the second one is words of affirmation, and then quality time, and then gifts, and then words of affirmation\u2014\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Bob: <\/strong>No! No! [Laughter] You got\u2014\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Ross: <\/strong>Acts of service! [Laughter] Oh, No!! I did it\u2014I did it! Alright, I did it!\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Bob: <\/strong>Our listeners need to know that yesterday, Dr. Chapman\u2014\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis: <\/strong>He fumbled the ball. \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Bob: <\/strong>He only got four out of five. I wonder if there is a ghost writer who wrote that book. He\u2019d written a book on God\u2019s grace and he was telling us a story how God had demonstrated grace to someone and at the end of that story he\u2014well, just listen.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t[Recorded Audio]\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Max: <\/strong>I looked up and across the table. The father winked at me, and the mother smiled at me. They reached over, and they petted me.\u201d He thought, \u201cI may be in a place called home.\u201d They adopted him, and he went on to grow up in that home and to lead a wonderful life. He gave his heart to Christ and became a great Christian man. The whole reason I put that story in the Bible is because that is a picture of\u2014\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis: <\/strong>In your book, in your book!\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Bob: <\/strong>In the book, not in the Bible.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Max<\/strong>: That would not be a good idea! In fact, that\u2019s biblical language; isn\u2019t it\u2014that we have been adopted into the family of God\u2014that God\u2019s made a covenant with us to bring us and let us sit at the table and spend eternity with Him.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Bob: <\/strong>It\u2019s a picture of grace that God didn\u2019t strike you dead for putting a story in the Bible. I thought I\u2019d just throw that in.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Max: <\/strong>You can cut that out, too! I suppose as listeners come up and introduce themselves to us, Bob, the first thing they mention\u2014they appreciate the biblical integrity that <em>FamilyLife Today<\/em> has\u2014being real, and authentic, and practical. But right up there in the top two or three, is that we know how to laugh at ourselves, and have a good time\u2014and they enjoy laughing with us. I think today\u2014more than perhaps at any point in our nation\u2019s history\u2014occasionally we just need a good laugh that goes all the way down to the belly and it just shakes from your toes to the top of your head.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>19:00<\/strong>\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Bob: <\/strong>You remember? I remember the first week we recorded our very first <em>FamilyLife Today<\/em> programs. In the middle of the recording, you said something\u2014or I said something\u2014we cracked each other up. I said to you later\u2014I said, \u201cWe can edit that out.\u201d And you said, \u201cWhy?\u201d I thought, \u201cThis is going to be fun\u201d \u2014because most Christian radio programs don\u2019t include a whole lot of laughter\u2014but life needs to include a little laughter; doesn\u2019t it?\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis: <\/strong>He made me and He made you\u2014and I think God\u2019s got a great sense of humor. In fact, I know that Jesus Christ was a man of sorrows, but I have to believe that He enjoyed laughing with the disciples from time to time. It\u2019s not recorded in the New Testament, but I can\u2019t imagine the Creator of the universe, not only creating smiles and laughter but also enjoying that as well. \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Bob: <\/strong>We had a Staff meeting where we gathered together\u2014the FamilyLife staff\u2014and reflected on the legacy of <em>FamilyLife Today<\/em>. \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>20:00<\/strong>\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\tEmmitt Fowler\u2014who works here\u2014brought out some of these bloopers for us and shared them with the staff. I\u2019ll tell you what\u2014it\u2019s just a great time of the year. How did you make that happen?\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis: <\/strong>Let me tell you the secret.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Bob: <\/strong>We\u2019re all waiting to hear.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis: <\/strong>I was born to Hook and Dousey Rainey.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Bob: <\/strong>Yes.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis: <\/strong>I have no idea because my grandfather, O.T.\u2014Oliver Theodore\u2014had white hair. He had a full head of hair at the end of his life when they celebrated their 50<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary\u2014and I will never forget it. His hair was snow white. I thought growing old, that\u2019s what I\u2019d look like, but I looked more like my dad at that point\u2014and my dad didn\u2019t have many grey hairs either.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Bob: <\/strong>It\u2019s really kind of annoying, I\u2019d just let you know. [Laughter] You have more hair than I have\u2014and your hair is a youthful color.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>5:00<\/strong>\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis: <\/strong>You know\u2014we\u2019ve got some early pictures. That means that every once in a while we get a little carried away with things like hair color or whatever\u2014and it leads to laughter. I don\u2019t know if you remember, but I came in one day and told you about a little confrontation I\u2019d had with my wife over a purchase I had made.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis: <\/strong>Would that be straws?\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Bob: <\/strong>Well, let\u2019s listen. \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t[Recorded audio]\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Bob:<\/strong> I went to Sam\u2019s one day and my wife had mentioned that we were out of straws. You remember this, right? [Laughter] So Sam\u2019s had straws\u2014you could buy a box of straws at Sam\u2019s\u2014\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>6:00<\/strong>\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t\u2014$10 for 3,000 straws\u2014that is\u2014that is 1\/3 penny per straw. At the store you can buy 50 straws for $1. I looked at that and said, \u201cThis is the bargain of a lifetime. It\u2019s a lifetime supply of straws.\u201d I bought the straws and came home. My wife\u2019s response to my meeting this need of hers was, \u201cI\u2019m never sending you to the store to buy straws again!\u201d [Laughter]\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\tI\u2019d like to do a poll. Can I do a poll on the internet to find out who was right? Me and my 3000 straws? \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis: <\/strong>I think this is a good poll.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Bob: <\/strong>Absolutely!\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis: <\/strong>I think this is a good poll.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Bob: <\/strong>3,000 straws for $10, or buying a box of 50 straws for $1. \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis: <\/strong>I want to say this. I know that the men who would buy the 10,000 straw\u2014\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Bob: <\/strong>3,000!\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis: <\/strong>10,000 straw box\u2014you\u2019re going to want to be tempted to vote more than once because you\u2019re going to feel outnumbered\u2014but please have integrity.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Bob: <\/strong>Only one vote per household. \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis: <\/strong>No, only per person.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Bob: <\/strong>Per person. I was happy to make that donation and I took it as a tax deduction on my income taxes. I think it was $4.37 worth of straws that we took as a tax deduction. I\u2019m not the only person who is committed to frugality and to thriftiness, because you had a moment where you were talking about how to be frugal. You would think that anybody that had written a book that had sold millions of copies\u2014like Gary Chapman\u2014would remember every one of the five love languages!\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Bob: <\/strong>I was just with Gary Chapman last week. I was reminiscing on the day that he and Ross Campbell were together in the studio. They had co-authored a book on the <em>Five Love Languages for Children<\/em>, and we asked Gary just to summarize those five for us.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t[Recorded Audio]\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Bob: <\/strong>Gary, go over for us the five love languages that you talk about in the book.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Gary: <\/strong>Well, they are basically, physical touch, giving gifts, quality time, giving the child your undivided attention, focusing on the child, and number five is\u2014 [Laughter]\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis: <\/strong>We\u2019re going to leave that on the broadcast, gentlemen!\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Gary: <\/strong>These are love languages\u2014not memory tools.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis: <\/strong>That\u2019s exactly right!\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t[Studio]\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Bob: <\/strong>He completely blanked on his five love\u2014\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>12:00<\/strong>\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis: <\/strong>Did you hear what they said? So the next day we decided\u2014out of mercy for Gary Chapman\u2014we\u2019d ask Ross Campbell this time to give us the five love languages. Here\u2019s what happened.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t[Recorded Audio]\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Ross<\/strong>: Every child has to have their emotional tanks filled and this the way we do it\u2014by the five love languages. \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Bob: <\/strong>And they are?\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Ross: <\/strong>The first one is physical touch, the second one is words of affirmation, and then quality time, and then gifts, and then words of affirmation\u2014\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Bob: <\/strong>No! No! [Laughter] You got\u2014\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Ross: <\/strong>Acts of service! [Laughter] Oh, No!! I did it\u2014I did it! Alright, I did it!\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Bob: <\/strong>Our listeners need to know that yesterday, Dr. Chapman\u2014\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis: <\/strong>He fumbled the ball. \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Bob: <\/strong>He only got four out of five. Today, Dr. Campbell repeats one and thinks he has scored a touchdown.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis: <\/strong>You know what I wonder? I wonder if there is a ghost writer who wrote that book. [Laughter]\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t[Studio]\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>13:00<\/strong>\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Bob: <\/strong>We also had as\u2014this was a classic moment when Max Lucado joined us on <em>FamilyLifeToday<\/em>. He\u2019d written a book on God\u2019s grace and he was telling us a story how God had demonstrated grace to someone and at the end of that story he\u2014well, just listen.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t[Recorded Audio]\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Max: <\/strong>I looked up and across the table. The father winked at me, and the mother smiled at me. They reached over, and they petted me.\u201d He thought, \u201cI may be in a place called home.\u201d They adopted him, and he went on to grow up in that home and to lead a wonderful life. He gave his heart to Christ and became a great Christian man. The whole reason I put that story in the Bible is because that is a picture of\u2014\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis: <\/strong>In your book, in your book!\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Bob: <\/strong>In the book, not in the Bible.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Max<\/strong>: That would not be a good idea! In fact, that\u2019s biblical language; isn\u2019t it\u2014that we have been adopted into the family of God\u2014that God\u2019s made a covenant with us to bring us and let us sit at the table and spend eternity with Him.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Bob: <\/strong>It\u2019s a picture of grace that God didn\u2019t strike you dead for putting a story in the Bible. I thought I\u2019d just throw that in.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Max: <\/strong>You can cut that out, too! I suppose as listeners come up and introduce themselves to us, Bob, the first thing they mention\u2014they appreciate the biblical integrity that <em>FamilyLife Today<\/em> has\u2014being real, and authentic, and practical. But right up there in the top two or three, is that we know how to laugh at ourselves, and have a good time\u2014and they enjoy laughing with us. I think today\u2014more than perhaps at any point in our nation\u2019s history\u2014occasionally we just need a good laugh that goes all the way down to the belly and it just shakes from your toes to the top of your head.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>19:00<\/strong>\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Bob: <\/strong>You remember? I remember the first week we recorded our very first <em>FamilyLife Today<\/em> programs. In the middle of the recording, you said something\u2014or I said something\u2014we cracked each other up. I said to you later\u2014I said, \u201cWe can edit that out.\u201d And you said, \u201cWhy?\u201d I thought, \u201cThis is going to be fun\u201d \u2014because most Christian radio programs don\u2019t include a whole lot of laughter\u2014but life needs to include a little laughter; doesn\u2019t it?\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis: <\/strong>He made me and He made you\u2014and I think God\u2019s got a great sense of humor. In fact, I know that Jesus Christ was a man of sorrows, but I have to believe that He enjoyed laughing with the disciples from time to time. It\u2019s not recorded in the New Testament, but I can\u2019t imagine the Creator of the universe, not only creating smiles and laughter but also enjoying that as well. \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Bob: <\/strong>We had a Staff meeting where we gathered together\u2014the FamilyLife staff\u2014and reflected on the legacy of <em>FamilyLife Today<\/em>. \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>20:00<\/strong>\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\tEmmitt Fowler\u2014who works here\u2014brought out some of these bloopers for us and shared them with the staff. I know I have a limited vocabulary but\u2014\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Bob: <\/strong>Are you counting \u201cyesterday\u201d and \u201cyesterdee\u201d as two words? \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis: <\/strong>Or \u201cprogrum\u201d and \u201cprogram\u201d?\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Bob: <\/strong>And \u201cprogram\u201d!
