It was amazing! \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>16:00<\/strong>\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\tIt was kind of the process of\u2014just to point out we were somewhere as a family\u2014that he was with me, mostly to just watch the kids because I had something I had to do, work-related. There was a movie on TV\u2014the scene that came on \/ a very innocent scene was depicting our story. This woman was telling this other woman, \u201cHow could you forgive your husband because of \u00ad\u00ad\u2026?\u201d It was literally like someone was telling our story on a TV screen.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\tI was almost pensive in turning to see what Jeremy\u2019s response was; because in my mind: \u201cMaybe he\u2019s going to bolt out of the room, or he\u2019s going to make a joke. I don\u2019t know.\u201d I turned; and he had tears streaming and the shaking. It was the first time I saw\u2014just remorse. He put his hand out, and that was the first time we had touched in six months. \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>17:00<\/strong>\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\tAs the screen depicted \u201cI chose forgiveness,\u201d he uttered the words, \u201cThat\u2019s what you <em>did<\/em>\u2014you chose forgiveness.\u201d [Emotion in voice] I was kind of able to look at him and say: \u201cIt\u2019s because of Jesus. It\u2019s just because of Jesus.\u201d I asked God, very specifically: \u201cPlease help me love him the way that You do and to treat him the way I would want him to treat me\u2014had I been the one that left, if I had been the one who kind of gave in to some darkness, and if I had been the one living with someone that needed to change.\u201d \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\tIt was just a hand-holding. You know, sometime later, there was a kiss. It was literally like kind of doing these kind of milestone things to the point where, you know, a year goes by and we go on sort of a date to celebrate having made this decision a year ago\u2014and sort of our one-year anniversary of being back together. \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>18:00<\/strong>\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\tAnd he had planned a surprise wedding\u2014it was just <em>redemption! <\/em>It was just: \u201cThis is what the kingdom of God looks like when we let it infiltrate our life! This is how beautiful your story can look if you can really trust and surrender to Jesus.\u201d\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\tThe most beautiful picture was, you know, getting out of the car. I am crying; and I see all of these precious people who have loved us\u2014and then these three little people come around the corner and [emotion in voice] to see our children. They don\u2019t even understand the magnitude of why Mommy\u2019s crying \/ they don\u2019t even know all of the details of what went wrong and how broken we were. \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\tThey just saw their parents in love. Our daughter asked, \u201cWhy is Mommy crying so hard?\u201d Jeremy said: \u201cShe\u2019s happy. It\u2019s just because she\u2019s happy.\u201d I just hugged her, and hugged her, and hugged her. I thought, \u201cShe will maybe\u2014hopefully\u2014never fully know how much that moment meant to me because of what her life was about to look like,\u2014\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>19:00<\/strong>\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t\u2014\u201cbut because of grace, because of the cross, because of forgiveness and hope, her life and her brothers\u2019 lives are forever altered.\u201d I just remember seeing that image of them kind of running around the corner\u2014and that\u2019s worth every bit of it.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\tSo when we meet couples that say, \u201cWell, I don\u2019t want to stay together just for the kids,\u201d we have a different opinion about that because God can use your kids to change you. Your children can be the best reason to actually try to work on it.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis:<\/strong> Well, I\u2019ve been thinking about this\u2014so I\u2019m going to go ahead and say what I\u2019ve been thinking about. You may already have something like this and not need it, but I\u2019m going to give you guys three things; okay? And the first thing has to do with those three kids. \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\tFor a number of years, we created and printed a marriage covenant that was designed so that you, Jeremy, and you, Tiffany, could sign it; but have your children sign it as well\u2014 \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>20:00<\/strong>\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t\u2014and hang it in your home as a statement of your covenant with one another. \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\tI keep thinking the thought\u2014so I\u2019m going to offer that. You may already have something in your home like that, so you may not need it.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Tiffany:<\/strong> That\u2019s awesome.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis:<\/strong> The second thing I want to give you is\u2014because marriage is one long process of redemption\u2014you\u2019ve obviously seen it come back from the dead\u2014but it\u2019s still a long process of redemption\u2014I want to give you a free weekend to the <em>Weekend to Remember<\/em>. I want to hear what happens, because I think He\u2019s got something very special in store for you as you get away to prepare your son for adolescence\u2014you\u2019re there.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Jeremy:<\/strong> We are there. This woman was telling this other woman, \u201cHow could you forgive your husband because of \u00ad\u00ad\u2026?\u201d It was literally like someone was telling our story on a TV screen.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\tI was almost pensive in turning to see what Jeremy\u2019s response was; because in my mind: \u201cMaybe he\u2019s going to bolt out of the room, or he\u2019s going to make a joke. I don\u2019t know.\u201d I turned; and he had tears streaming and the shaking. It was the first time I saw\u2014just remorse. It\u2019s just because of Jesus.\u201d I asked God, very specifically: \u201cPlease help me love him the way that You do and to treat him the way I would want him to treat me\u2014had I been the one that left, if I had been the one who kind of gave in to some darkness, and if I had been the one living with someone that needed to change.\u201d \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\tIt was just a hand-holding. You know, sometime later, there was a kiss. It was literally like kind of doing these kind of milestone things to the point where, you know, a year goes by and we go on sort of a date to celebrate having made this decision a year ago\u2014and sort of our one-year anniversary of being back together. \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>18:00<\/strong>\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\tAnd he had planned a surprise wedding\u2014it was just <em>redemption! <\/em>It was just: \u201cThis is what the kingdom of God looks like when we let it infiltrate our life! This is how beautiful your story can look if you can really trust and surrender to Jesus.\u201d\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\tThe most beautiful picture was, you know, getting out of the car. I am crying; and I see all of these precious people who have loved us\u2014and then these three little people come around the corner and [emotion in voice] to see our children. They don\u2019t even understand the magnitude of why Mommy\u2019s crying \/ they don\u2019t even know all of the details of what went wrong and how broken we were. \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\tThey just saw their parents in love. Our daughter asked, \u201cWhy is Mommy crying so hard?\u201d Jeremy said: \u201cShe\u2019s happy. It\u2019s just because she\u2019s happy.\u201d I just hugged her, and hugged her, and hugged her. I thought, \u201cShe will maybe\u2014hopefully\u2014never fully know how much that moment meant to me because of what her life was about to look like,\u2014\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>19:00<\/strong>\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t\u2014\u201cbut because of grace, because of the cross, because of forgiveness and hope, her life and her brothers\u2019 lives are forever altered.\u201d I just remember seeing that image of them kind of running around the corner\u2014and that\u2019s worth every bit of it.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\tSo when we meet couples that say, \u201cWell, I don\u2019t want to stay together just for the kids,\u201d we have a different opinion about that because God can use your kids to change you. Your children can be the best reason to actually try to work on it.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis:<\/strong> Well, I\u2019ve been thinking about this\u2014so I\u2019m going to go ahead and say what I\u2019ve been thinking about. You may already have something like this and not need it, but I\u2019m going to give you guys three things; okay? And the first thing has to do with those three kids. \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\tFor a number of years, we created and printed a marriage covenant that was designed so that you, Jeremy, and you, Tiffany, could sign it; but have your children sign it as well\u2014 \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>20:00<\/strong>\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t\u2014and hang it in your home as a statement of your covenant with one another. \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\tI keep thinking the thought\u2014so I\u2019m going to offer that. You may already have something in your home like that, so you may not need it.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Tiffany:<\/strong> That\u2019s awesome.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis:<\/strong> The second thing I want to give you is\u2014because marriage is one long process of redemption\u2014you\u2019ve obviously seen it come back from the dead\u2014but it\u2019s still a long process of redemption\u2014I want to give you a free weekend to the <em>Weekend to Remember<\/em>.
