because the average man can see better than he can think.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t(laughter)\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis:<\/strong>\u00a0 Well, this is from the book by Jess MacCallum.\u00a0 Jess welcome back.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Jess MacCallum:<\/strong>\u00a0 Thank you for having me.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis:<\/strong><strong>\u00a0 <\/strong>Jess is a businessman who claims that doesn\u2019t mean he\u2019s accountable for his theology.\u00a0\u00a0 \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Bob:<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0 We challenged that claim.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis:<\/strong>\u00a0 We have already tested that and his theology is sound.\u00a0 He was just trying to find an easy way out and we didn\u2019t let him have it.\u00a0 He is a COO of a commercial printing company in Columbia, South Carolina.\u00a0 He is the husband of one, the father of three.\u00a0 He\u2019s got a son and two beautiful daughters.\u00a0 He\u2019s written this book as Bob mentioned, <em>I Married Wonder Woman, Now What?<\/em>\u00a0 Let\u2019s talk about this subject of beauty.\u00a0 You wrote a whole chapter about this.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Jess MacCallum:<\/strong>\u00a0 That\u2019s probably the most famous single verse from Proverbs 31.\u00a0 Charm is deceptive.\u00a0 Beauty is vain.\u00a0 But a woman who fears the Lord should be praised.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\tWell, I looked into that a little bit because I\u2019m the classic mush mouth pushover for an attractive woman who shows me any attention at all.\u00a0 That leftover immaturity from when I was a kid I guess but most men if they were honest would admit to be given any attention by an attractive woman is flattering.\u00a0 \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\tI looked into this thing and I find it is not the thing you can base decisions on.\u00a0 It is what it is and it aint what it aint.\u00a0 We\u2019re supposed to find out spouses attractive and if you married one you didn\u2019t think was attractive you\u2019d probably need to go to a therapist and figure out what it was that you were doing because you\u2019re supposed to find your spouse attractive.\u00a0 \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\tThe whole concept of female beauty and I guess masculine beauty but I don\u2019t know much about it.\u00a0 I don\u2019t study that either.\u00a0 Feminine beauty is so variable.\u00a0 Age by age.\u00a0 Culture by culture.\u00a0 I mean, the Mona Lisa.\u00a0 The Venus Demillo.\u00a0 I\u2019d of stayed single in those generations.\u00a0 \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t(laughter)\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\tIt\u2019s hard to pin down.\u00a0 \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis:<\/strong>\u00a0 The warning of scripture I think is the story of Sampson.\u00a0 He looked on the woman and said, go get her for she looks good to me.\u00a0 \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Jess MacCallum:<\/strong><strong>\u00a0 <\/strong>Yes, and that was the end of the thinking process.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis:<\/strong>\u00a0 That was it.\u00a0 He didn\u2019t think about her character and whether or not her heart was toward God.\u00a0 She was just beautiful.\u00a0 Go get her.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Jess MacCallum:<\/strong> And there\u2019s a little bit of a personality temperament make up you\u2019d have to have Tim LaHaye or someone like that to talk about temperaments.\u00a0 I don\u2019t know but I saw my wife and was blown away.\u00a0 Adam saw Eve and he was blown away.\u00a0 Jacob sees Rachel and he\u2019s blown away.\u00a0 So I have a pattern that I can find for myself in scripture other men I know didn\u2019t notice their wives out of a crowd got to know her and later on boom.\u00a0 She becomes beautiful to him.\u00a0 \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\tThere\u2019s the flip side of this coin.\u00a0 Where we\u2019re holding them to some high standard of looks and have we looked in the mirror lately at ourselves.\u00a0 Are we doing anything?\u00a0 My plan right now is to age kind of masculine and graceful and rugged like a Sean Connery thing going on there.\u00a0 But that\u2019s why there\u2019s one Sean Connery.\u00a0 \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t(laughter)\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis:<\/strong>\u00a0 You\u2019re going to have to work on the accent too.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Jess MacCallum:<\/strong>\u00a0 Yes, I\u2019ll get that but you know the verability is so great but to make serious life decisions based on beauty.\u00a0 And charm is worse.\u00a0 Charm is bogus.\u00a0 That\u2019s why a charmer is known as a flatterer and someone you don\u2019t want to trust because they are throwing charm at you.\u00a0 \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\tAt least beauty is focused on the individual that you are looking at.\u00a0 Charmed is aimed at you to take you away.\u00a0 So when the enemy uses\u2014it says beauty is fleeting and charm is outright a lie.\u00a0 It\u2019s trying to entice you away from what God would have you do.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Bob:<\/strong>\u00a0 It\u2019s costume jewelry.\u00a0 It\u2019s not the real gem stone it\u2019s just the stuff that\u2019s two dollars and common, right?\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis:<\/strong>\u00a0 So when it comes to woman\u2019s beauty, specifically your wife\u2019s beauty what\u2019s a man to do?\u00a0 He\u2019s to praise her and thank her and tell her she looks pretty and find ways to appreciate the beauty she brings to his life.\u00a0 \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Jess MacCallum:<\/strong>\u00a0 Yes.\u00a0 I like to say and I\u2019m stacking the deck because my wife is great.\u00a0 You know red hair and just awesome looking and takes care of herself but the point is I have to remind myself during my busy schedule when it\u2019s all about me that I need to focus on her.\u00a0\u00a0 I need to compliment her.\u00a0 I need to make sure she feels one hundred percent secure and she doesn\u2019t think I\u2019m lying.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Bob:<\/strong>\u00a0 I whistled at Mary Ann the other day when she walked in the kitchen.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis:<\/strong>\u00a0 Did you really?\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Bob: <\/strong>\u00a0Yes, I did.\u00a0 She was looking pretty good.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t(laughter)\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\tI\u2019m telling you when that happens. \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis:<\/strong>\u00a0 (laughter) And I can see Mary Ann.\u00a0 She\u2019s probably rolled her eyes back in her head and got this smirk on her face but she loved every minute of it, didn\u2019t she?\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Bob:<\/strong>\u00a0 (laughter) You\u2019ve got to think she did, you know?\u00a0 And I wasn\u2019t being disingenuious with her because she walked in and she looked real cute.\u00a0 What she had on and the smile on her face she looked attractive.\u00a0 I think it\u2019s wise for a husband when his wife looks attractive to acknowledge that she is attractive.\u00a0 But then we have to be careful that in acknowledging it we don\u2019t just jump right away to boy, you look attractive guess what that\u2019s making me think about right now?\u00a0 You know what I\u2019m saying.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis:<\/strong>\u00a0 Exactly.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Jess MacCallum:<\/strong>\u00a0 Manipulation you know is we may not even know we\u2019re doing it.\u00a0 But our wives are in tune to any kind of manipulative comment that they are suspecting has a string attached to it.\u00a0 Even if it\u2019s 72 hours in the future.\u00a0 \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t(laughter)\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\tI can plan ahead and she knows it.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t(laughter)\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis:<\/strong>\u00a0 Well, we\u2019ve talked about a number of tools that men have in a tool belt.\u00a0 We\u2019ve been talking about Batman and the tool belt that\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Bob:<\/strong>\u00a0 The utility belt that he carried around with him, right? \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Jess MacCallum:<\/strong>\u00a0 No, and I\u2019m probably pushing the envelope a little bit but I\u2019m not a scholar.\u00a0 I\u2019m not a theologian.\u00a0 I have no degree.\u00a0 I\u2019m a businessman.\u00a0 You have to give me some slack here.\u00a0 \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis:<\/strong>\u00a0 Yes, it had all the gagets the provided help and hope and strength and kinds of ways out of impossible situations.\u00a0 We talked about a number of them.\u00a0 Let\u2019s just quickly go through the list that we\u2019ve talked about here.\u00a0 \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\tWe\u2019ve talked about valuing your wife above everything.\u00a0 Trusting your wife and reaping the benefits.\u00a0 This was one I hadn\u2019t thought about before Jess, and it\u2019s not that I don\u2019t trust Barbara because I have implicit trust in my wife but in Proverbs 31 it says that the husband trusts in his wife immeasureably.\u00a0 I forget the exactly\u2026\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Jess MacCallum:<\/strong>\u00a0 The heart of her husband trusts in her and he will have no lack of gain.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis:<\/strong>\u00a0 Yes.\u00a0 That meets a need in our wives when they know we truly trust them.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Jess MacCallum:<\/strong>\u00a0 I guess that would go back and again I\u2019m not a theologian.\u00a0 I\u2019ll hide behind that again but in the garden of Eden You created this woman to be a helpmate not just a helper and assistant garden keeper.\u00a0 Her identity is designed to be right alongside of you doing whatever God\u2019s called you to do as a couple.\u00a0 So when you trust her you validated her existence.\u00a0 If you don\u2019t trust her what is she to do with her identity?\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis: <\/strong>\u00a0 The way you communicate you trust her is by asking her opinion.\u00a0 Telling her that you do trust her.\u00a0 You thank God for her faithfulness to you and the family.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Jess MacCallum:<\/strong>\u00a0 Let her make a big financial mistake.\u00a0 Let her make a decision.\u00a0 This woman who takes on a vineyard.\u00a0 She buys land and plants a vineyard and she\u2019s got all this going on.\u00a0 \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\tI\u2019m going to tell you what.\u00a0 I don\u2019t do well with trusting my wife with money because I don\u2019t like to have anything bad happen to my money.\u00a0 So when she\u2019s allowed to make serious decisions you go with it.\u00a0 And if it\u2019s a flop.\u00a0 If I make the flop I have a hundred reasons to defend my choices.\u00a0 If she has a flop I jump all over it and that\u2019s kind of the typical pattern.\u00a0 If you can actually let her make a mistake or at least take risks with money and then make these decisions.\u00a0 And then say we\u2019ll just pick up the pieces together and go on.\u00a0 You have to kind of literally put your money where your mouth is some days. \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis:<\/strong>\u00a0 Yes, but if you wife is not expressing ambition in those areas you wouldn\u2019t necessarily prompt her to start thinking about buying a piece of property.\u00a0 \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Jess MacCallum:<\/strong>\u00a0 No, but if she has that it ought to be something\u2026I mean I would rather her learn that the way I get to learn it.\u00a0 I think it\u2019s been good for me to be in business.\u00a0 I was never going to be in business.\u00a0 I was an art major.\u00a0 I was going to be an artist maybe a missionary.\u00a0 Something cool and Bohemian.\u00a0 Here\u2019s this opportunity came along and she pushed me.\u00a0 She said, \u201cYou know you can do this.\u201d\u00a0 She kind of pushed me into business and I\u2019ve learned a tremendous amount.\u00a0 I ought to give her the same opportunity.\u00a0 \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis:<\/strong>\u00a0 How have you encouraged her to step out like you\u2019re talking about?\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Jess MacCallum:<\/strong>\u00a0 Well, this is a specific and very current one.\u00a0 She\u2019s just produced her second CD.\u00a0 And when I say she\u2019s produced it I mean she\u2019s produced it.\u00a0 We\u2019ve done it ourselves and financed the whole thing.\u00a0 The first one just about broke up our marriage.\u00a0 It\u2019s a lot of work.\u00a0 I had no idea what we were getting into financially.\u00a0 It was all done locally.\u00a0 It was fantastic.\u00a0 Her music to me is about the only Christian music that I listen to regularly.\u00a0 The others cycle through but I keep playing her stuff again in my car.\u00a0 It\u2019s just good.\u00a0 So we put that in there.\u00a0 Well, I didn\u2019t know if we would ever do a second one and here comes the second one.\u00a0 \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\tBecause she pushed me to finish this book and send it in I got a small advance and I was going to buy myself a classic BMW.\u00a0 I\u2019d always had my eye set on a BMW late 80\u2019s model.\u2014635 CSI with a sun roof and leather interior.\u00a0\u00a0 I had found one that was about the equivalent of the advance I got from doing the book.\u00a0 I was so excited and the Lord said you need to give that money to your wife\u2019s next CD project.\u00a0 I said oh man there goes my classic car.\u00a0 So I took the whole money and put it in the account that I made for her and all right go ahead and start your CD.\u00a0 So she spent all that plus a good bit more but that\u2019s the point.\u00a0 It didn\u2019t wreck us financially but it was certainly it\u2019s not a money maker to do your own music ministry.\u00a0 So we put this together.\u00a0 The blessing is so great beyond anything else but I have to rearrange my value structure to appreciate that.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis:<\/strong>\u00a0 Bob, he gave you a copy of his wife\u2019s CD did that.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t(laughter)\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Bob: <\/strong>\u00a0You know one of the things we haven\u2019t talked about is how the man married to the Proverbs 31 woman appreciates the fact that she has ambition and that she has drive and that she is intelligent.\u00a0 He doesn\u2019t feel threatened by those things.\u00a0 He actually encourages that, right?\u00a0 \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Jess MacCallum:<\/strong>\u00a0 Yes.\u00a0 I\u2019m going to say I just probably did all this in my own head.\u00a0 Nobody else has ever made this mistake.\u00a0 But there\u2019s a verse that Peter talks about beauty from a woman shouldn\u2019t be from outward appearance but the gentle and quiet spirit that\u2019s how they should do it.\u00a0 \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\tI think that maybe some of us took that and said well we have to marry a demur woman who\u2019s an introvert.\u00a0 Who\u2019s quiet and gentle spirit and she doesn\u2019t ever\u2026listen I married a red head with all the accompanying stereotypes.\u00a0 She\u2019s an extrovert.\u00a0 We both have tempers and we both have a love for people and action and activity.\u00a0 We always have people in our house.\u00a0 She struggled a little bit with the stereotype of a gentle and quiet means I have to kind of hold myself back and I don\u2019t have an opinion.\u00a0 I can\u2019t engage in heated political debate.\u00a0 All that stuff was a misunderstanding of what that verse is.\u00a0 It\u2019s about beauty.\u00a0 And a gentle and quiet spirit does not mean you\u2019re not an outgoing, excitable, energetic, intelligent person.\u00a0 \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\tI have come to not feel threatened.\u00a0 It\u2019s taken me 20 years but I\u2019ve come to feel excited about being around strong people.\u00a0 Especially my wife.\u00a0 Strong women raise strong kids.\u00a0 I don\u2019t want my kids to not be able to face the future and if there is anything to some of the groups looking at the end times prophetically and if in their generation they see things get worse I want some kids who stand their ground.\u00a0 \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\tDennis:\u00a0 Jess just because you\u2019re married to a strong woman because you\u2019ve decided to step up and not become passive and let her take over you\u2019ve become a stronger man than you would have been if you had married a woman who was not that strong.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Jess MacCallum:<\/strong>\u00a0 Yes, in fact Peter Parker, that\u2019d be Spiderman in case you don\u2019t remember you\u2019re wasted childhood.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Bob:<\/strong>\u00a0 You knew that, right?\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Jess MacCallum:<\/strong> Did you know Peter Parker?\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis:<\/strong>\u00a0 I can\u2019t lie.\u00a0 I didn\u2019t remember his name.\u00a0 Bob\u2019s a big fan.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Jess MacCallum:<\/strong>\u00a0 In the movie the remake of the original movie he talks about M.J. his love.\u00a0 He says, \u201cyou know when you\u2019re in love you don\u2019t know what to call it you just know what kind of man you want to be.\u201d\u00a0 \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\tIt is true.\u00a0 I hate to say that sometimes Hollywood gets it right but I am more motivated to be a different man.\u00a0 It\u2019s like being married to a personal trainer.\u00a0 You know you\u2019re just not going to be able to sit and eat those donuts.\u00a0 You\u2019re not.\u00a0 She\u2019s going to slap my hand.\u00a0 It\u2019s just her nature.\u00a0 \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t(laughter) \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\tWell, if you hitched up to a race horse and you thought it was a plow horse then you better get ready for a race.\u00a0 Or you\u2019re going to have to try and beat the character out of that horse and that\u2019s just stupid.\u00a0 That\u2019s not biblical to not take your wife\u2019s natural gifts and play the hand you\u2019re dealt.\u00a0 Take her on to the next level if you can but you\u2019re going to have to get in shape to do it.\u00a0 \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis:<\/strong>\u00a0 Yes, and it is your assignment as a man to whatever that package of gifts God gave her initially when you first were married.\u00a0 You have responsibility to develop those gifts and like the steward take the three talents and turn them into six.\u00a0 \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Jess MacCallum:<\/strong>\u00a0 That\u2019s right.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis:<\/strong>\u00a0 Take the five and turn them into ten.\u00a0 And if your married to a one talent woman double it.\u00a0 Over your lifetime you\u2019re supposed to love her and care for her and expand her borders.\u00a0 Help her look out and about to how she can make a difference.\u00a0 \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\tIt\u2019s interesting.\u00a0 I have some advantages over Bob right now.\u00a0 He may whistle at Mary Ann but Barbara and I are empty nesters and because of that we really go home to a quiet house and it\u2019s just us.\u00a0 So we\u2019ve got conversations now that we\u2019ve not had in years.\u00a0 Being able to talk about the future.\u00a0 Being able her future and what she\u2019s going to do and her visions.\u00a0 What she wants to accomplish and how she wants to use her gifts and her abilities.\u00a0 And I\u2019m seeing my wife motivated at a whole new level that I haven\u2019t seen and the reason was six children zapped the motivation.\u00a0 That takes it all off the top right there.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Bob:<\/strong>\u00a0 It directed it toward the six children.\u00a0 \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis:<\/strong>\u00a0 Oh, yes.\u00a0 They didn\u2019t discourage her.\u00a0 They invigorated her around being a mom but now that season is over and it\u2019s time to take on a new assignment.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Jess MacCallum:<\/strong>\u00a0 Well the responsibility angle and I don\u2019t want to belabor the theology of this but there is a responsibility angle that men resist.\u00a0 Adam didn\u2019t want to do what he was supposed to do slap that fruit out of her hand and wring that snake\u2019s neck and so here we are.\u00a0 So he\u2019s pulled back from this.\u00a0 \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\tThe guy with the ten talents here\u2019s the reward.\u00a0 Take over ten cities.\u00a0 Well, what kind of reward is that?\u00a0 What happened to the vacation or take ten years off and go do what you want to do.\u00a0 Now, you\u2019re not only good with ten small things.\u00a0 I\u2019m going to make you responsible so you\u2019re reward is more responsibility.\u00a0 Well, that stinks if you don\u2019t like responsibility but if you do like responsibility you can feel how great that would be.\u00a0 \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\tBut even saying it sometimes inside you can feel who on earth would take on ten cities to administer and to run but the guy who likes it or who\u2019s wanting it will think that\u2019s the greatest thing he ever had.\u00a0 Well, your wife my wife did I don\u2019t\u2019 know about your wife.\u00a0 My wife has pushed me out there to take responsibility that I would have sat on the couch and passed to someone else.\u00a0 \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\tI tell you a real quick little story.\u00a0 I\u2019m on a plane to go to a business trip a couple of weeks ago and I\u2019m in that seat right behind the one with the extra leg room, the emergency exit.\u00a0 And there\u2019s this tall young man with an army t shirt on a strapping young kid and he sits down there and the stewardess asks him like everybody else, this is the emergency exit and in case of an emergency you have to grab this.\u00a0 Do you feel comfortable with that responsibility?\u00a0 He looked at her and said, no, I don\u2019t want responsibility.\u00a0 \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\tI don\u2019t even know why I did it but I popped my hand up and said I\u2019ll take it.\u00a0 More leg room.\u00a0 But it was so not like me in my past.\u00a0 To say yes put me in the row where I\u2019m going to have to save the passengers.\u00a0 That was not me.\u00a0 Anne has pushed me to take responsibility to the point where now I\u2019ll say, \u201cAll right. We crash I\u2019ll save you.\u201d\u00a0 \n\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Dennis: <\/strong>\u00a0Jess this week you have exhorted, implored, you\u2019ve equipped and you\u2019ve challenged.\u00a0 You\u2019ve given men some tools to put on their tool belt and their equipment belt to be able to love their wives.\u00a0 I\u2019ve got one last assignment for
