McKelvey has also penned more than 300 lyrics recorded by a variety of artists including Switchfoot, Kenny Rogers and Jason Gray. He is a regular contributor to the Rabbit Room website and to the annual Molehill publications. Douglas and his wife Lise live in Spring Hill, Tennessee.
