These roles, along with a twenty-year battle with leukemia, have uniquely equipped him to be a \u201cShepherd to Shepherds.\u201d \r\n\r\nA gifted author, Ed has written several books and discipleship materials. Notably his book \u201cWhen God Breaks Your Heart\u201d about his near-death experience as he battled cancer as a young pastor, has encouraged believers through tragedies and trials. \u201cReborn to Be Wild\u201d is his account of coming to Christ during the Jesus movement only to watch so many converts from that era become sidetracked by the culture wars. His discipleship book \u201cBeginning in Grace\u201d has been used nationwide to equip followers of Jesus to live out the Great Commandment and the Great Commission. \r\n\r\nEd resides in Southern California with his wife Judy. They have three children and nine grandchildren whom they love to spoil rotten.
